BraveMap Privacy Policy

BraveMap is a local-first personal growth and self-reflection app. This Privacy Policy explains how BraveMap handles information.

BraveMap does not collect personal data from this app.
The app does not require an account, login, email address, phone number, or cloud profile. BraveMap does not operate a backend system for storing user entries.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
BraveMap stores app data locally on your device. This may include:
- Brave act entries you create
- Optional notes you write
- Selected impact areas
- Difficulty selections
- Progress and medal data
- App language and preference settings
- Local reminder settings
This information stays on your device and is not sent to BraveMap servers.
3. Notifications
BraveMap may ask for notification permission only if you choose to enable reminders.
If enabled, reminders are scheduled locally on your device. BraveMap does not use a remote push notification server to send personalized messages.
You can disable notifications at any time from within the app or from your device settings.
4. Analytics and Tracking
BraveMap does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking technologies.
BraveMap does not sell user data.
5. Health and Medical Disclaimer
BraveMap is not a medical, therapy, mental health, diagnosis, or treatment app.
The app is designed for personal reflection, journaling, and tracking small brave actions. It does not provide medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for professional care.
6. Data Deletion
Because BraveMap stores data locally on your device, you can delete your app data from within the app by using the reset/delete data option where available.
You may also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
7. Children's Privacy
BraveMap is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
